Track & Field Competes At Billy Hayes Invite

Katie Johnson led the Cardinals with a second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles. She finished the meet in 13.83. Lanae Stovall placed seventh finishing in 15.20.
Johnson was also a part of the 4x100 meter relay team that placed seventh at the meet. The team consisted of Johnson, Lindsay Bangert, Stovall and Amanda Barnhart. They recorded the fastest time of the season clocking in at 47.89.
Off the track, Jessica Genovese recorded her best high jump mark of the season by clearing 5-5. Her previous best height came when she cleared 5-3 at the Stan Lyons Invitational.
Seniors Amanda Barnhart and Cara Collins recorded top ten finishes for BSU. Barnhart took third place in the long jump with a distance of 19-5 ?. Collins placed sixth in the hammer throw with a distance of 169-6.
The track and field team will compete in the Mid-American Conference Championships from May 15-17. The meet will be held in
