MUNCIE, Ind. ? Nine members of the eighth-ranked Ball State men's volleyball team have earned recognition on the 2008 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Academic All-Conference Team as announced today by the league office.
"I am pleased to see half our roster achieve academic all-conference honors," said Ball State head coach Joel Walton. "We encourage our players to achieve both on the court and in the classroom. The number of players we placed on the academic all-conference team is a testament to the level our players focus on their academics. Volleyball provides our players with great life experiences during college, while their academic work prepares them for the rest of their lives."
