Scouting Ball State: The Cardinals are coming off of a 82-51 loss to No. 13 Louisville. Ball State falls to 3-3 on the season. Despite the loss, Ball State played Louisville tough in the first period only trailing by two (33-31) at the half. Ball State's defense held senior forward Angel McCoughtry to only six points in the first half. McCoughtry is an All-American candidate. Sophomore Emily Maggert led Ball State with 15 points and senior Porchia Green netted 14 points.

Scouting Wright State: Wright State is coming off of a 71-51 win over BYU Hawaii. The Raiders are 3-4 overall and 2-2 on the road. Wright State has defeated Eastern Kentucky (53-47), IUPUI (59-57) and BYU Hawaii (71-51). The Raiders faced Robert Morris Nov. 30 and lost 65-57, a team Ball State defeated 85-81 in the preseason WNIT Nov. 21. Wright State is a member of the Horizon League. Wright State is located in Dayton, Ohio and they are coached by Bridgett Williams.

Series History: This is the 12th meeting between the two schools'. Wright State leads the all-time series record 7-4. The Cardinals won their last meeting over the Raiders last season in Dayton, 61-52.

Next Up: Ball State will face in-state rival Indiana State Saturday at Worthen Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.
