Scouting Indiana State: Indiana State dropped to 2-5 on the season with a 66-55 loss at Tulane Dec. 6. The Sycamores have defeated Detroit (74-60) and Southeast Missouri (75-72). Indiana State has faced one other team from the Mid-American Conference West Division when it played Central Michigan in its season opener in Mt. Pleasant, Mich. which resulted in a 84-83 loss for the Sycamores.
Series History: In their 29th meeting Indiana State leads the all-time series record 21-7. The Sycamores defeated the Cardinals 61-57 in Terre Haute last season.
