McDonald Named MAC West Division Player of the Week

MUNCIE, Ind. - Junior Audrey McDonald (Kokomo, Ind./Kokomo) of the Ball State University women's basketball team has been named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week. The announcement was made by the league office today.
In Friday's contest versus Robert Morris, McDonald helped the Cardinals and head coach Kelly Packard pick up their first win of the season by leading BSU with 25 points, including 7-of-11 effort from behind the arc. On Saturday, McDonald had 14 points and made four three-pointers in Ball State's win over Cleveland State. She also tied her career-high in assists with six. McDonald also broke the preseason WNIT record with 13-three pointers made.
The Ball State University women's basketball team travels to Illinois State Tuesday. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
