Ball State University and WLBC invites all area children to attend its upcoming football game, Saturday, October 25, against the Eastern Michigan Eagles which is scheduled for a noon kickoff.
Children have the opportunity to experience a college football game as Ball State hosts NCAA Football's 11th annual “Take A Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program presented by Coca-Cola and sponsored by other Corporate Champions, AT&T and Pontiac. Kids, ages 14 and younger, will receive a free general admission youth ticket with the purchase of a full-priced general admission adult ticket, to watch the Cardinals at Scheumann Stadium. WLBC radio personality Steve Lindell will host a seating section designated for those attending the game through this program.
Ball State University is one of more than 200 schools across the nation hosting a game in this campaign. The campaign will focus on allowing youth the opportunity to attend college football games. The Take A Kid to the Game program is entering its 13th year in the promotion of collegiate athletics.
“We encourage you to save the date. Ball State is excited about this event where kids from the community will have a chance to be apart of our game day experience and support NCAA Football's Take A Kid to the Game program,” Tom Collins, athletic director at Ball State University said. “This game day experience is an opportunity for children to spend quality time with a parent or role model and learn about sportsmanship that can be demonstrated on the playing field.”
