
Swimming & Diving Wins The House of Champions Relays

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Ball State University men's and women's swimming and diving team competed at the House of Champions relays at IUPUI's Natatorium on Tuesday night.
The Cardinals managed a 435 point win over Evansville (270), IUPUI (254) and Western Illinois (239).
The foursome of Maria Gramelspacher, Katie Bylsma, Michelle Huang and Lauren Harger opened the relay meet with a 3:41.74 victory in the 400 free.
Bylsma and Huang along with teammates Addison Del Rio and Sarah Kehe clocked in a 4:46.93 final to win the 500 free relay.
The women went on to win the 200 medley (1:50.28) and the 400 medley (4:10.79).
Jacob Morris, Josh Young, Ben Battjes and Austin Laska swam their way to a first place finish in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:17.14. The foursome then went on to win the 500 free relay with a time of 4:19.09.
The men won the 200 medley relay and the 400 medley relay with the help of Kyle Hembree, Ryan Franklin, Adam Dale and Jordan Rantz after clocking in a time of 3:51.02.
Ball State continues action at IUPUI on Friday, Jan. 11.
