On-Campus Promotions Start Tuesday At 11 a.m. For Students

The first on-campus promotion is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday at University Green near Frog Baby on the BSU campus. BSU Athletics and its corporate sponsors Pepsi, Marsh, Arby's and T.K. Constructors have teamed together with a variety of free giveaways -- while supplies last -- for BSU students, including the 2007 BSU Football t-shirt, drinks from Pepsi, items from Marsh and Arby's roast beef sandwiches. Football posters and other items will also be handed out for free.
In addition, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Delaware County will be on-hand Tuesday with information on becoming a volunteer, while the National Society of Collegiate Scholars will provide Cornhole and prizes.
Ball State, the Mid-American Conference and GMAC Financial Services will be on campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Scramble Light to promote the game with more free giveaways. GMAC will provide drawstring backpacks, playing cards and other items, plus students can register for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship at halftime of Saturday's game at Scheumann Stadium.
The Cardinals host MAC-foe Buffalo at Noon Saturday. Both teams are 1-0 in the MAC's West and East Division, respectively.
