Men's Tennis Dominates Day Three of the Milwaukee Classic

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The Ball State University men's tennis team ended their three day competition at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic winning five of seven singles matches and all three doubles.
Jose Perdomo (Trujillo, Puerto Rico/Sag Inacio) defeated DePaul's Austin Doerner by a score of 7-6, 6-3. Eduardo Pavia (Carolina, Puerto Rico) won in three sets (6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-8) to Vanja Grgec. Bret Berryman (Blue Springs, Mo./Blue Springs) managed a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Bartosz Jozwiak. Jorge Rodriguez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Sag Inacio) earned a 7-5, 6-4 win over Adam Williams while teammate Danny Vidal (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Colegio San Jose) was victorious over Tim Cadet, 6-1, 6-0.
The Cardinals dominated doubles, winning all three of their matches over Wichita State. Perdomo and Jarrod Epkey (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove) claimed a 8-6 victory over Dos Santos and Ballesta. The twosome of Pavia and Rodriguez earned an 8-3 win against McCormick and Chermaci. Shaun Bussert (Decatur, Ga./Decatur) and teammate Berryman defeated Garnder and Briceno, 8-0.
Men's Tennis travels to Notre Dame for the Tom Fallon Invite which begins Friday (Sept. 28).
