Men's Tennis Ends Action At Boise State Red Lion Tournament

BOISE, Idaho - The Ball State University men's tennis team (7-10) lost its last match at the Boise State Red Lion Tournament to Texas-Arlington (8-7) by a score of 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

UTA took an early lead by winning the doubles point.

In singles play Joe Epkey retired Diego Mattar, 7-5 (6), 4-6, 3-2 at the No. 1 spot. Joe Vallee also managed a win for Ball State at the No. 6 flight after posting a 6-4, 5-7, 10-6 win over Gonzalo Bienzobas.

Ball State remains on the road in non-conference action when it travels to Indiana State on Wednesday, April 4. The match is slated for a 3 pm start.
