
Men's Tennis Wins MAC Opener At Buffalo, 5-2

BUFFALO, NY - The Ball State University men's tennis team (5-8, 1-0 MAC) defeated Buffalo on Friday night by a score of 5-2 capturing its first Mid-American Conference victory of the season.
The Cardinals swept the doubles competition at every position, the twosome of Joe Epkey and Jose Perdomo collected a 9-8 (7) win over Yules Hadisubroto and Kirill Kolomytes at the No. 1 slot. Aaron Phillips and Jorge Rodriguez captured an 8-5 win against Nikesh Singh Panthlia and Octavian Stane at the No. 2 flight. Finishing up doubles play for the Cardinals, Jarrod Epkey and Joe Vallee defeated Mike Rockman and Albert Alant, 8-4.
