
Women's Tennis Lose To South Carolina State, 6-1

ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The Ball State University women's tennis team fell to South Carolina State on Monday afternoon by a score of 6-1. With the loss the Cardinals drop to 4-5 on the season.
Newcomer Sophie Quist alongside classmate Christine Stromberg posted a 9-4 victory over Brito and Popac at No. 2 doubles.
Stromberg tallied a 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles against Vesna Popac for the Cardinals lone point of the day.
Ball State continues its spring trip on Wed., March 14 against the College of Charleston. The match is set to begin at 5 pm.
