Corbin Earns Academic All-District Accolades
February 09, 2007 | Women's Basketball
“This is a very deserving honor for Kelsey as she is the leader of our team, both on and off of the court,” head coach Tracy Roller said. “We are proud of our academic success as a team and Kelsey is leading the way with her continued excellence in the classroom.”
Corbin, a three-time team captain, owns a 3.66 GPA in psychology and has guided the Cardinals to a 17-4 overall record this season. This is her first Academic All-District honor of her career after picking up Academic All-Mid-American Conference honors last season and MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week honors earlier this season.
She is second on the team in scoring this season as she averages 12 points per game. She leads the team and is sixth in the MAC in field goal percentage as she has connected on 52.9 percent (91-of-172) from the field. She leads the team in assists with 94 on the season and is fourth all-time in BSU history with 380 assists.
