Men?s Volleyball Match vs. IPFW Feb. 23 to be Televised

MUNCIE, Ind. - - Thanks to a generous donation from the H. H. Gregg Center for Professional Selling, the Feb. 23 Ball State men's volleyball match versus No. 5 IPFW will be televised live by the Ball State Sports Network. The match can been seen locally on WIPB Muncie Cable Channel 2.
"This is a tremendous opportunity to get the word out about our program," said head coach Joel Walton. "I truly appreciate H.H. Gregg's help in promoting not only our team, but the sport of men's volleyball within the community. Our matches versus IPFW are always intense and thrilling to watch. This helps build up the excitement even more."
Ball State enters the week with a 4-4 overall record, including a 1-0 Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association mark, after defeating Lewis last Friday. IPFW enters the week ranked fifth in the nation with a perfect 8-0 record, including a 3-0 MIVA slate which includes a pair of wins over Loyola-Chicago and a victory over Lewis.
The Cardinals own a 56-24 advantage in the all-time series with the Mastodons, despite suffering losses in all three meetings between the two clubs last season. The Cardinals are 24-11 all-time versus the Mastodons in Muncie, including a 10-6 ledger in Worthen Arena.
