Women's Swimming & Diving Remains In Seventh Place After Day Two At MAC's

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Ball State University women's swimming and diving team remained in seventh place after day two's competition at the Mid-American Conference Championship held by Eastern Michigan on Thursday.
The Cardinals finished sixth in the 200 free relay to open up Thursday's events. The foursome of Kelly Johnson, Brittany Sayler, Addison Del Rio and Michelle Huang clocked in a time of 1:36.57 which was good for defeats over
Freshman Sarah Kehe took 19th in the 500 free with a time of 5:08.58 in the preliminaries.
Freshman Kelly Johnson came in 13th in the 50 free (24.31) and Huang took 16th with a time of 24.50.
Junior Stephanie Paul dove her way into an eighth place finish in the 1-meter diving event after scoring a 241.85.
Swimming prelims for Friday will begin at 11 a.m. with three-meter diving prelims slated for 1 p.m. Finals for day three of the meet is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Jones Natatorium. Events for the third day of competition are 400-yard IM, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke, 100-yard backstroke and three-meter diving.
