Women's Swimming & Diving In Seventh Place After First Day At MAC's

YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Ball State University women's swimming and diving team are in seventh place after day one of action at the Mid-American Conference Championships held by Eastern Michigan on Wednesday.
The Cardinals only competed in two events which was the 200 medley relay and the 800 free relay. Ball State finished in seventh place in both events just above Buffalo.
In the 200 medley the foursome of Katie Jasmon, Addison Del Rio, Erin Johnson and Kelly Johnson clocked in a time of 1:46.36. The 800 free relay team that had a time of 7:39.37 was Sarah Kehe, Brittany Sayler, Mary Brinkoetter and Michelle Huang.
Swimming prelims for Thursday (Feb. 15) will begin at 11 a.m. with one-meter diving prelims slated for 1 p.m. Finals for day two of the meet is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Jones Natatorium. Events for the second day of competition are 200-yard freestyle relay, 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM, 50-yard freestyle, one-meter diving and the 400-medley relay.
