Ball State Head Coach Brady Hoke: Brady Hoke (Ball State ?82) is in his fifth year as the Cardinals head coach . . . Hoke, an assistant coach for the University of Michigan from 1995-2002, is one of only 18 coaches in the country to be coaching at their alma mater in 2007.
Central Michigan Head Coach Butch Jones: Butch Jones (Ferris State ?90) is in his first year as the head coach at Central Michigan and his first year as a head collegiate mentor . . . He spent the 2005 and 2006 seasons as the wide receivers coach at West Virginia after spending from 1998-2004 as an assistant coach at Central Michigan.
Scouting Central Michigan: The Chippewas are 2-3 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-American Conference . . . Central Michigan opened the season with a 52-7 loss at Kansas, before opening MAC play with a 52-31 home win over Toledo . . .
