Men's Tennis Drops Dual Match to No. 5 Illinois

BSU (1-3) lost all six singles matches and all three doubles matches in a Fighting Illini shut out over the Cardinals.
The No. 1 doubles duo for Ball State which was made up of senior Joe Epkey and sophomore Jose Perdomo nearly beat Kevin Anderson and Ruben Gonzales of Illinois by a score of 9-8 (5).
The lone singles match of the night that went to three sets for the Cardinals was sophomore Joe Vallee at the No. 6 spot against Brandon Davis which resulted in a 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 loss.
