
Toledo Defeats Ball State in Dual MAC Action

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ball State University women's swimming and diving team fell to Toledo in Mid-American Conference dual action on Saturday afternoon at Toledo Aquatic Club by a score of 163-136.
Freshman Meghan Patterson clocked in a time of 17:31.57 to earn the 1650 free event. Senior Brittany Sayler swam her way to the top of the list with a time of 58.35 in the 100 back. Junior Addison Del Rio claimed the top spot in the 100 free (54.47) while teammate senior Mary Brinkoetter placed first in the 200 back (2:06.70).
The Cardinals went on to lose the next four events before senior Michelle Braden notched first place honors in the 400 IM (4:35.73).
BSU senior Katie Boyle finished third in the 3-meter diving event with a 232.05 final while fellow Cardinal junior Stephanie Paul took third in the 1-meter diving with a score of 250.58.
