BSU Women's Golf Coach Katherine Mowat Embarks On 'Team Build' Project In New Orleans

Approximately 25 women's collegiate golf coaches participated during the week on the construction site.
Throughout the Spring Women's Collegiate Golf Season, teams from around the nation have raised funds to assist in the building of this home. Programs conducted fundraisers such as golf marathons, birdie pledges, long drive contests and golf outings to raise the necessary funds.
Over 30 programs are anticipated to make donations with the NGCA goal of $60,000, which would fully fund a new home. To date, over $30,000 has been donated to The New Orleans Habitat for Humanity on behalf of NGCA "Project Team Build."
"I would personally like to thank the many programs that have donated toward this most needed cause and invite more programs or individuals that would like to contribute in the name of your "favorite" collegiate team to help us reach our $60,000 goal. We are very close and look forward to heading to New Orleans to help make this a reality," stated
