Men's Tennis Defeats Toledo 4-3

In No. 1 doubles action, the No. 26 ranked tandem of Matt Baccarani and Joe Epkey defeated Josh Moran and Brian Rager of Toledo by a score of 8-1. In No. 2 doubles, Tony and Jarrod Epkey defeated Tony Tran and Chris Clark 9-8 (4), giving the doubles point to the Cardinals.
In singles competition, No. 85 Matt Baccarani defeated Chris Clark 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 1 position. At No. 4 singles, Patrick Thompson defeated Travis Curran 7-6 (3), 6-2, while Danny Vidal picked up a 7-6 (4), 6-1 win over Cristobal Toral in the No. 6 position.
The Ball State men's tennis team will continue its conference season Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. when it faces IPFW in Fort Wayne, Ind.
