Zach Whitaker Finishes 22nd and 26th at 2006 NCAA Zone C Diving Qualifying Meet

Ball State junior diver Zach Whitaker finished competition at the 2006 NCAA Zone C Diving Qualifying Meet with a 22nd-place finish on the 3-Meter board and a 26th-place finish on the 1-Meter board.
On the opening day of competition, Whitaker placed 22nd among the 41 divers in the 3-Meter Diving prelims with a score of 250.15. The top 18 divers in the prelims advanced to the finals, with Whitaker missing the cut by 15.35 points.
On Saturday, Whitaker placed 26th among 42 divers in the 1-Meter Diving prelims with a score of 220.80. Again, only the top 18 divers in the prelims advanced to the finals, with Whitaker missing the cut by 24.6 points.
Whitaker did on compete in the platform diving session Sunday.
