Terry Moss to Play in Hula Bowl

, a senior wide receiver for the Ball State University football team, has been selected to play in the Cornerstone Bancard Hula Bowl All-Star Game.
The Hula Bowl, which allows elite collegiate football student-athletes to showcase their talents for National Football League scouts, will be played Sun., Jan. 14, at 8:30 p.m., on ESPN at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Moss becomes the first Ball State football player invited to a postseason all-star game since Justin Beriault played in the Las Vegas All-American Classic and Reggie Hodges competed in the East-West Shrine Game after the 2004 season. Moss is the first Ball State football student-athlete to appear in the Hula Bowl since Justin Riley played in the game after the 2003 season.
Moss started 11 games for the Cardinals this season and managed 27 catches for 685 yards with eight touchdowns. He averaged a team-high 25.4 yards per catch, and had a career long reception of 81 yards, which went for a touchdown against North Dakota State. Moss was also Ball State's top kick returner with 23 for 551 yards and a 24.0 average.
In his career, Moss started 25 games and played in 43-of-45. He led the Cardinals in receptions (36), receiving yards (420) and touchdown catches (4) as a junior.
The Hula Bowl coaches include Pat Hill of Fresno State, Mark Richt of Georgia, Rich Rodriquez of West Virginia and Art Briles of Houston.
