Corbin Earns MAC West Division Player of the Week Honors

"This is a very deserving honor for Kelsey," head coach Tracy Roller said. "We are happy that they league office recognized her incredible leadership and how instrumental it was in our second half comeback over Michigan. We are very excited for her and the BSU program."
Corbin, a team co-captain, guided the Cardinals to a 62-58 victory over Big Ten foe Michigan in their season opener. The victory is BSU's first ever over the Wolverines in program history and the first win over a Big Ten school since the 2002-03 season.
Corbin led all scorers in the four-point road victory as she poured in a game-high 16 points. She scored 11 points in the second half as the Cardinals came from behind to overcome a 13-point first half deficit. She connected on six-of-eight from the field, including three straight baskets during the Cardinals' 16-0 run to take the lead for good in the game.
The Cardinals will return to the court Saturday afternoon as they open the home portion of the 2006-07 schedule when Wright State visits Muncie. The game is set for a
