Women's Golf Finishes 14th at The Legends
October 09, 2006 | Women's Golf
Ball State's women's golf team is tied for 14th out of 18 teams after the first two rounds of the Shootout at The Legends in Franklin, Ind.
Ball State's Kallie Harrison fired rounds of 77-77-76 to tie for 39th overall as the Cardinals' top performer.
Ball State managed a 316 in the first round, followed by a 308 in the second round and 314 in the final 18 holes.
"No one on the team is happy with their individual performance," says BSU head coach Katherine Mowat. "It's unfortunate that everyone had frustrating times with their game at the same time. Most of our problems were a result of missing a lot of putts."
Amy Roberts tied for 56th (77-80-77), while Sarah Windlan (81-73-82) tied or 61st.
Ball State completes its fall campaign at the Cincinnati Fall Classic Oct. 16-17.
