Dennis Stark Relays Complete Team Scores
Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams posted second-place finishes at the 2005 Dennis Stark Relays hosted by Notre Dame. The women posted 200 points - - 40 shy of first-place Notre Dame - - while the men tallied 162 points to trail only Notre Dame's 252.
On the men's side, the Cardinals scored top three finishes in 11 of the 13 events, including six runner-up finishes. BSU's women's squad posted top-three finishes in 12 events, including three first place efforts.
In the women's 400 yard medley relay, Brittany Sayler, Addison Del Rio, Erika Paul and Ashley VanOsdol turned in a time of 3:57.57, topping the closest competitor by 3.15 seconds.
In the women's 200 yard medley relay, Del Rio, Erin Johnson, Sayler and VanOsdol swam to a clocking of 1:49.79 to take home top honors, while Stephanie Paul and Katie Boyle posted a score of 467.75 to win the women's 1-meter diving relay.
The BSU swimming and diving team will return to Lewellen Aquatic Center Oct. 14 for the annual Red-White Meet which is slated for a 6 p.m. start.
