Rex Rudicel

Rudicel, a three-year starting guard for Ball State, gained all-state honors after leading the Cardinals to their best basketball record ever, 17-4, in 1937-38. Also a three-time baseball regular, he served as head basketball coach at Hagerstown and Muncie Burris for 29 years prior to assuming the job of Burris athletic direction in 1969.
