Readnour, who earned five letters in basketball and baseball for Ball State from 1960 to 1962, was chosen as the Cardinals’ MVP and earned All-ICC recognition in both sports. Readnour was named player of the year in the ICC in 1962. His .451 batting average that year and .369 career mark rank second on BSU’s all-time lists, while his 732 career rebounds is the third highest in BSU basketball history.
