Lori Hill Mallory, who lettered in women’s tennis at Ball State from 1992-1996, becomes the first female tennis player in Cardinals’ history to be inducted into the Ball State Athletics Hall of Fame. Hill was a part of the first doubles team in school history to win a Mid-American Conference Championship when she did so in 1995 at the No. 1 doubles position and then repeated the feat in 1996. She teamed with Lisa Drewitt in her last two seasons at No. 1 doubles to compile a 68-12 overall mark and a perfect 12-0 record vs. MAC opponents. Hill was named to the 1995 All-MAC First-Team and earned Second-Team honors in 1994 and 1996. A three-time Academic All-MAC selection in 1994, 1995, and 1996, Hill posted an 83-50 career record in singles for the Cardinals.
