Findling was a member of the women’s basketball team from 1975-79. She received honorable mention on the National Scouting Association All-America Team in 1978. Findling started every game in her four seasons at Ball State, and led the team with 20.1 points and 11.1 rebounds per game as a senior. After her collegiate career, Findling was drafted by the Milwaukee Does of the Women’s Basketball Association. Findling, who was previously a manager at Sierra Challenge, was also inducted as a charter member of the Valparaiso High School Athletics Hall of Fame in 1989.
