James Regenold
- Induction:
- 1983
- Class:
- 1972
Regenold established nearly all of Ball State’s scoring records during his collegiate basketball career. A three-year starter for the Cardinals from 1969 to 1972, the Anderson Madison Heights product’s 716-point total and 27.5 ppg. scoring average during the 1970-71 campaign are still school records. Regenold was the first BSU player ever selected in the National Basketball Association draft when he was a ninth-round choice of the Milwaukee Bucks in 1972.
