Brent Baldwin

Brent Baldwin was a member of the Cardinals’ 1993 and 1996 Mid-American Conference Championship football teams and helped the squad to the Las Vegas Bowl in each of those seasons. Baldwin threw 35 career touchdown passes, which ranked third in Ball State history when he completed his career, and set, and still owns the school’s career record with a .657 pass completion percentage. In his career, Baldwin completed 342-of-597 passes for 4,256 yards, while starting the final 31 games of his career.

After graduating from Ball State, Baldwin was a graduate assistant coach for the Cardinals and then was the assistant coach at Shepherd College in 2000-01 before returning to Ball State as a fulltime assistant from 2001-05. Baldwin spent the 2007 season as the head coach at Goshen High School after working in the private sector from 2005-07. He led Goshen to an 8-4 mark last fall in his initial season.
