In July 2006, Jason Roberson was named director of strength and conditioning for Olympic sports at Ball State University. Roberson enters his 19th year in the position in 2025.
Before coming to Ball State, Roberson developed as a strength coach at Drake, being promoted to the director of strength and conditioning in 2004 after contributing as an assistant at the university from 2003-04. He served in his position as director for two years.
Roberson started his strength and conditioning career in 2002 as a part-time assistant with Drake University before being promoted to a full-time assistant strength coach.
A graduate of Upper Iowa University in 1999, Roberson received his master’s degree from Loras College in 2003 while working as a graduate assistant strength coach.
