After helping guide the Ball State women’s volleyball program to the 2022 Mid-American Conference regular season championship and an at-large berth into the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship, Julianna Cramer will join the Cardinals coaching staff as Director of Operations for the 2023 season.
Cramer, who played four seasons at Arkansas State before transferring to Ball State for her COVID year of eligibility in 2022, finished her five-year playing career with 1,290 assists over 98 career matches.
In her lone season at Ball State, Cramer trained alongside 2022 MAC Setter of the Year Megan Wielonski, helping guide the offense to a league-best .250 attack percentage. The Cardinals also led the conference with a .727 winning percentage, boasting a 24-9 overall record and a 15-3 league ledger.
Over her four-year career at Arkansas State, Cramer played in 301 total sets, handing out 1,283 assists. She dished out a career-best 31 assists twice as a sophomore in 2019 -- at Virginia Tech (9/20/2019) and at UT Arlington (11/8/2019) --, while registering 25 career assist/dig double-doubles, including 14 in her final season with the Red Wolves.
