Bio
2021-22 (Sophomore): Top 2 for Ball State’s Top 100 Student Awards for the most outstanding junior and senior undergraduates ... earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association Academic honors … saw limited action … went 1-1 in dual action … helped the Cardinals defeat Eastern Michigan at the No. 6 singles positions after taking down Julia Piatek by a score of 6-2, 6-1 allowing the Cardinals to claim the 2022 Mid-American Conference regular season title.
2020-21 (Freshman): Did not play.
High School: A local player, Behrman has competed at the No. 1 singles position for Muncie Burris for the past three years, registering a 51-10 overall singles mark. A three-time Pioneer Academic Athletic Conference (PAAC) Champion (2017, 2018, and 2019), Behrman also earned All-Conference and All-Academic PAAC awards in 2019. As a sophomore, Behrman advanced to the final four of the 2018 IHSAA individual state finals and was selected All-State Second Team in singles for the past two seasons.
Academically, Behrman has accepted an admission to the Ball State Honors College and has been granted the Presidential Scholarship. She plans to work towards a double major degree in chemistry and Spanish. Following graduation from Ball State, Behrman would like to pursue a master's degree in materials science and engineering.
