Joe Levine is in his second year as a graduate assistant coach for the Ball State women's gymnastics team. A 2010 graduate of Michigan, Levine was a member of the NCAA National Championship team for the Wolverines as a senior and the national runner-up squad as a junior.
In addition, he helped the Wolverines to the 2009 Big Ten Conference Championship. He earned a College Gymnastics Associaton Academic Scholar Award and was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award winner as a senior.
In 2010, Levine was also recognized on the Academic All-Big Ten Team and with a University of Michigan Honors Award. In 2009-10, he was UM's representative on the Big Ten Conference Commision on Student-Athlete Issues Committeee. In 2008, Levine interned at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association. From 2003-06, he served as a gymnastics instructor at the Surgents Elite School of Gymnastics and the International Gymnastics Camp.
