PHILLIPS ON TYLER: Carson is a baller. She is a great athlete that takes pride in her ability to affect the game in so many different ways. She has such a natural touch on her platform, and she hits the ball with a lot of heat at the net. She has a knack for knowing where to be at the right moments and finds ways to get the big kill when needed. She's so fun to watch because she's so dynamic and plays very confidently. I'm excited to have her in the gym!
HIGH SCHOOL: Played five seasons on the varsity squad at St. Mary's for coach Don Pieczynski … has helped guide the Lancers to a 143-14-2 record over the last four seasons, including a 46-2 mark so far her senior campaign, most recently helping guide the program to its 13th consecutive Monsignor Martin High School Athletic Association title … has amassed 1,744 kills, 1,045 digs, 213 aces and 121 blocks entering the New York State Catholic High School Athletic Association State Championship … helped guide the team to a 41-4-2 record and a state title as a junior … team captain as a junior and senior.
