2022 OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in seven meets … tabbed Academic All-MAC … placed fifth at the MAC Outdoor Championships (May 14) in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:42.92 … picked up event wins in the 400-meter dash at the We Fly Challenge (April 16) and Jack Shaw Invite (April 30) … ran a season-best 400-meter time of 55.18 and placed sixth at the Jesse Owens Classic (April 23) … also part of second-place finishing team in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:40.49 at the same meet … took third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.92 at the Jack Shaw Invite (April 30).
2022 INDOOR TRACK & FIELD: Competed in six meets … tabbed Academic All-MAC … earned All-MAC honors after placing second at the conference indoor meet (Feb. 26) in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:47.21 … also placed fifth in the 400-meter dash at the MAC Indoor Championships (Feb. 26) with a time of 56.26 … ran season-best times of 25.58 in the 200-meter dash and 55.60 in the 400-meter dash at the Meyo Invitational (Feb. 5) … won the 600-meter run with a time of 1:33.84 at the Jim Green Invitational (Jan. 15) … logged second-place finishes in the 4x400-meter relay at the Hoosier Open (Dec. 10) and Michigan Invitational (Jan. 22).
PRIOR TO BALL STATE: Competed for four years at Belmont … broke the indoor school records in the 400- and 600-meter races … was named the student-athlete of the month in March of 2019 … also earned the team’s most improved award … was a four-year member of the dean’s list … helped Belmont to a second-place finish at the Ohio Valley Conference outdoor meet in 2021 … also went on a mission trip to Belize in 2019 where she and her teammates did community service work around a village and worked through sports ministry with kids.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at White House High under head coach Daniel Williams ... did not run track until junior year … owns school records in 100, 200 and 400 meters ... won state title in 400 as a senior to become the school's first individual female track champion ... two-time Sumner County Female Track Athlete of the Year ... three-time team MVP ... team captain as junior and senior … was on the honor roll all four years of high school.
PERSONAL: Daughter of Jim and Tammie Barlow … has two siblings: Paige and Phebe … father, Jim, played football at Austin Peay State … plans to pursue a master’s of business administration degree … chose Ball State because of the family atmosphere and fit both academically and athletically.
