Ranks tenth in the Top 10 Scores of S&D History on the 3-Meter (301.12)
2021-22: Named to the Academic All-MAC Team…finished fourth overall on the 1-meter board at the MAC Championship meet (290.50)…also placed sixth overall on the 3-meter board (261.40)…finished second on the 1-meter board (263.33) versus UIndy…
2020-21: Named MAC Freshman Diver of the Year … earned MAC Diver of the Week honors on Feb. 24 … placed third overall on 3-meter (284.55) and fifth overall on 1-meter (260.50) at the MAC Championships … dove for 285.15 on the 1-meter and 301.12 on the 3-meter to win both events versus Southern Illinois.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Homestead High School and dove under coach Jill Eakright…earned title of team captain as a senior and acquired three varsity letters…placed 2nd in 1 meter dive at sectionals (450.10) as a senior…competed at the Future Champions Invite held in Buffalo, NY where Hunter placed 3rd in the 3 meter dive (410.15)…also won the 1 meter dive at the Homestead Invite his final season for the Spartans…earned a letter in both cross country and track and field as well.
CLUB: Dove for 2.5 years for Indiana International School of Diving under coach Jill Eakright.
PERSONAL: Son of Julianna and Edward Hunter…has three sisters, Emma (20), Kiera (16), Chloe (14)…studying political science at Ball State.
WHY BALL STATE: I chose Ball State because of the great academic programs available and the swim and dive team culture.
