Career Notes
Came to Ball State as a walk-on and developed into a key member of the Cardinals' rotation over his final three seasons ... overcame two ACL surgeries (one in high school and one at BSU).
2019-20 (Redshirt Senior)
Played in all 31 games and made nine starts at point guard … averaged 3.2 points per game and ranked third on the team with 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals per game … one of only five MAC players to record a 10-assist game on the season … handed out a career-high 10 assists without a turnover in the win over Howard, becoming the first BSU player with 10 assists and zero turnovers since Tyrae Robinson at Eastern Michigan in 2012 … scored a season-high eight points four times -- at Evansville, versus Howard, versus IUPUI and in the home win over Western Michigan … registered a career-best four steals against Northern Kentucky … helped BSU to a share of the MAC West Division title and the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament before the postseason was canceled because of COVID-19.

Appeared in all 33 games off the bench … averaged 2.7 points and 1.2 assists per game … shot 72.0 percent from the free throw line and 31.7 percent from 3-point range … had his best offensive performance in the win over Delaware State, setting career highs for points (19), rebounds (6), assists (4), field goals made (4), 3-pointers made (4) and free throws made (7-for-7) … his high scoring output in conference play was eight points at Ohio and at home against Toledo.
2017-18 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Appeared in 15 games and entered the team’s regular rotation for the final nine contests of the year … scored a season-high eight points and went 2-for-2 from 3-point range in a season-high 20 minutes against Kent State (Feb. 9) ... scored seven points against Northern Illinois (Feb. 20) ... converted a four-point play at Akron (Feb. 13) ... scored his first collegiate point on a free throw against Oakland City (Nov. 28) and his first career basket against Bowling Green (Feb. 6) … averaged 1.9 points per game and made 10 of 12 free throws (.833).
2016-17 (Redshirt Freshman)
Saw action off the bench in three games … made his Ball State debut Dec. 19 against Longwood … played a season-high four minutes Dec. 22 against Alabama State … also played Jan. 17 against Central Michigan … served as a member of the Ball State scout team ... helped BSU to a share of the MAC West Division championship.

Chandler was an assistant coach at Lawrence North High School while Josh was there before becoming head coach at Muncie Central High School.
