Kindon Crowder, a former member of the Ball State men's basketball team, completed his third year as the Cardinals' director of basketball operations in 2019-20. He spent the two seasons before that as graduate manager for the program.
Crowder was a student manager for the Cardinals before earning a roster spot for the final two years of his college career. He appeared in 17 games and made one start as a senior in 2013-14. Between his time as a manager, player, graduate manager and director of operations, Crowder has been involved with the Ball State men's basketball team for 10 years.
As director of operations, Crowder is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team and has a hand in virtually every area of the program. Among his various duties are organizing team travel, scheduling facility usage, coordinating the team's practice, class and event schedules, preparing for recruiting visits, assisting with pre-scouting, and serving as a liaison to other ares of the athletic department and campus.
During his five combined years as a graduate manager and director of operations, Ball State has won three MAC West Division championships and competed in the postseason twice.
A Chicago native and graduate of Munster High School in northwest Indiana, Crowder earned his bachelor's degree in computer technology from Ball State in 2014. He earned his master's from BSU in curriculum and educational technology in 2016.
