Outside of the football program, Simpson serves as a marketing officer for Ascend Meditations which promotes a meditation app designed to support athletes in mental performance and recovery.

PRIOR TO BALL STATE: Played two seasons at Wake Forest (2021-22) ... made collegiate debut in a home win over Old Dominion in the 2021 season opener, playing four plays as a true freshman ... ultimately redshirted in 2021 and did not see action in 2022.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Jimmy Graves ... caught 76 passes for 988 yards and 11 touchdowns across his prep career at Pike High School ... averaged 14.9 yards per catch as a senior, hauling in 31 catches for 461 yards and seven touchdowns ... rated a three-star prospect by ESPN, with a Top 300 rating at wideout and top 30 rating in the state of Indiana.
