Chase Britt joined the Ball State athletic training staff in the Spring of 2022 as an assistant athletic trainer primarily covering Ball State football and assisting with men’s and women’s tennis in the spring. He was appointed to the head football athletic trainer position in the Summer of 2023 and has served in that role since.
Britt arrived at Ball State by way of the Indianapolis Colts where he was a full-time seasonal athletic trainer for two years. He has brought a passionate approach to the daily care of the Ball State football athletes and coaches, and has jump-started programs to bring more undergraduate students into the athletic training room and give them an opportunity to help and learn about the profession.
Britt received his bachelor's degree in athletic training from Northern Kentucky University in where he had a variety of clinical experiences that helped him develop his passion for athletic training, including work with the Thomas More College football team and the Cincinnati Bengals. He ventured to Texas A&M-Kingsville where he received his master's degree in educational administration and served as the athletic trainer for the football and men’s basketball teams.
