Joins a multitude of tight ends in the Ball State program, but could see playing time in his redshirt freshman season ... "He's really grown up," said Mike Uremovich. "He's put on some weight and really had a good spring."

2025 (Fr): Did not play, redshirt ... signed with Ball State in December 2023, but was a grayshirt in 2024 and enrolled in January 2025.

HIGH SCHOOL: Riggins signs with the Cardinals after completing a senior year at Zionsville High School where he caught 24 passes for 267 yards and a pair of touchdowns … he was third on the Eagles in both yards and total receptions, and averaged 38.1 receiving yards per game … he was one of two tight ends chosen as part of the Indy Star’s Class 6A Senior All-State Team … he will join Cardinal sophomore Christian Abney in the tight end room next season, after catching passes from him only a year ago when Abney was the Zionsville quarterback … received other offers from Austin Peay, Bryant, Buffalo and Colgate.

PERSONAL: Son of Candy and Mark … has four sisters named Courtney, Kaylee, Joelle, and Jacqueline … sister Kaylee, played lacrosse at the University of Akron … his favorite musician is Rod Wave … wants to get into real estate after college.
