HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years on the varsity squad for head coach Dave Beebe at Aurora Christian High … plyaed linebacker and running back for the Eagles … team offensive MVP as a snior and defensive MVP as a junior … two-time all-conference selection … finished with nearly 200 tackles along with 3.5 sacks, 12 tackles for loss, one interception and two fumble recoveries as a prepster … totaled 686 rushing yards, 168 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as a senior … also lettered four times in lacrosse … helped Aurora Christian win the state lacrosse title in 2015 and 2017.
PERSONAL: Son of Nate and Ky Perry … has one brother … his father, Nate, played linebacker for Ball State in the late 1990s … his uncle, Brian Carpenter, played cornerback at Michigan and then for the Washington Redskins.
