Mid-American Conference West Division Special Teams Player of the Week (Oct. 12, 2013)
2016 (R-Sr.): Handled the team’s punting and kickoff duties … his career punting average of 41.0 yards ranks third in the Ball State annals … totaled career highs in number of punts (9) and punting yards (379) in the loss to Eastern Michigan on Nov. 8 … also tallied three touchbacks on kickoffs against EMU … hit his longest punt of the season on Nov. 1 against Western Michigan, a 66-yarder which pinned the Broncos on their four yard line … four of his five punts at Toledo on Nov. 16 landed inside the 20-yard line … only four of his 66 punts (6.1 percent) resulted in touchbacks.
2015 (R-Jr.): Served all 12 games as the team’s punter … also split time on kickoffs … helped Ball State rank third in the MAC in both net punting (37.6 yards per punt) and kickoff coverage (41.7 yards net average) … of his 58 punts, 21 landed inside the 20-yard line, 15 were fair caught and none resulted in a touchback … all four of his punts in the opener versus VMI landed inside the 20-yard line … notched two punts more than 50 yards at Western Michigan on Nov. 5, including a season-best 64-yarder … recorded 14 touchbacks on 40 kickoffs.
