2018 (R-Sr.): Saw action in six games as a reserve wide receiver … made his Ball State debut in the opener against Central Connecticut … finished with two receptions for six yards in the win over CCSU … recorded a reception in five of his six appearances.
At Nebraska: 2017 (R-Jr.): Battled an injury during his first season of eligibility at Nebraska that kept him out of the first nine games … made his Husker debut at Minnesota, although he did not record a reception … two weeks later in the season finale against Iowa, Williams hauled in a 19-yard reception in the first quarter for his only catch of the season.
2016 (R-So.): Sat out after transferring from Fresno State.
At Fresno State: 2015 (R-Fr.): Williams saw action for Fresno State in 2015, playing in five games as a receiver. He caught seven passes for 34 yards, with one rushing attempt and one punt return.
2014 (Fr.): Took a redshirt season in his first year with the Bulldogs.
HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time team captain for coach Louis Landrum at Lusher High in New Orleans … set school career records for total yards and total touchdowns … caught 22 passes for 397 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior, and also ran the ball seven times for 47 yards and one touchdown, while adding a passing touchdown … named to the 11-3A All-District team, was Lusher’s Offensive MVP and earned honorable-mention all-state accolades … played quarterback as a junior and was 82-of-143 passing for 1,204 yards and 13 touchdowns … also rushed the ball 113 times for 701 yards and 11 touchdowns … his play a junior earned him a spot on the All-District 10-3A team and the school's Offensive MVP honors.
PERSONAL: Son of Keith and Ayanna Williams … born on Oct. 3, 1996 … two-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection … earned his bachelor's degree in 2018 … his father is a collegiate football coach and played football at San Diego State.
