2020 (R-Jr.): Appeared in seven of BSU’s eight games and started the first two at outside linebacker … forced a fumble in the season opener at Miami and had three quarterback hurries in that game … matched his career high with four tackles in the win over Eastern Michigan … had a tackle for loss in the win at Toledo … moved to tight end during 2021 spring practice.
2019 (R-So.): Saw action in all 12 games with 11 starts at outside linebacker … led the team in sacks (4.5), forced fumbles (2) and fumble recoveries (3) … ranked second on the team in tackles for loss (10.0) … recorded his first career sack against Florida Atlantic on Sept. 14 … recovered fumbles on back-to-back FAU offensive snaps and returned the first of them 60 yards for Ball State’s first defensive touchdown in five years … tallied a key third quarter fumble recovery which led to a BSU touchdown in its comeback win over Northern Illinois on Oct. 5 … recorded a strip sack on Eastern Michigan’s final offensive snap to seal the win in Ypsilanti on Oct. 12 as the Eagles were threatening to score … set personal highs in tackles for loss (2.5) and sacks (2.5) in the win over Toledo on Oct. 19.
2018 (R-Fr.): Played in 11 games as a reserve linebacker and on special teams … tallied his first collegiate tackle in the win over Kent State on Sept. 29 … notched two stops, including a tackle for loss, at Ohio on Oct. 25.
2017 (Fr.): Took a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three letters at defensive end from head coach Lekevie Johnson at Centennial High … all-state honorable mention as a senior … two-time first team all-conference … finished with 31 tackles, six sacks, 11.5 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and one touchdown in 2016 … team’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year as a senior … also lettered in basketball and baseball … helped the baseball team win the 2016 regional title … High Honor Roll student.
