PERSONAL: Son of Matt and Barb Ruess … has two sisters, Katie and Emily … father was a pitcher at Iowa State, and later in the Detroit Tigers' organization … Matt Reuss was drafted in the 38th round of the 1994 MLB Draft, and made 15 starts at Single-A in his lone year of pro ball … enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends in his free time … favorite athlete is Bo Jackson and he likes to watch the Sopranos.
