Offensive utility man returns for his fourth season at Ball State, where he can lineup in the backfield, slot or an outside receiver ... "He's fast and dynamic," said head coach Mike Uremovich. "He gives us a bigger body in the slot." ... Thacker's younger brother, Michael, is a defensive lineman for Ball State.

2025 (R-So.): Played in eight games in 2025 while breaking into the offensive rotation late in the season ... caught three passes overall, including his first college touchdown on a 15-yard pass play at Toledo (11/22) ... it was his longest play from scrimmage.

2024 (R-Fr.): Saw action in eight games in 2024, mostly on special teams ... made his college debut against Missouri State (9/7) ... had one carry for six yards at James Madison (9/28) ... posted one tackle on special teams at Central Michigan (9/21).

2023 (Fr.): Did not see any game action and received a redshirt for the 2023 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at New Palestine High School where he earned four varsity letters … awarded first-team all-state as a junior and senior and was a team captain those two years … won his team’s most valuable receiver award as a sophomore, junior and senior … helped lead his team to a regional crown as a junior and senior.
